I wonder if he has a YouTube account? It'd be cool to get comments on your videos from him on there and I'm sure he could post all kinds of exclusive Saw stuff he has on his channel to share with his fans (if Lion's Gate would allow it).

Didn't he say on one of his DVD commentaries that he has several hours worth of Saw II behind the scenes footage?

I don't know. Never listened to any commentaries.

I've only listened to them once each.

darren deserves an award for everything he's done and putting up with the shit he gets from the producers.

he directed saw's II, III, and IV, and made them millions of dollars. what does he get in return? crappy promotion for repo

and he STILL puts his heart and soul into everything he does and manages to interact with the fans as much as he can.

Why does Dan Heffner have such an axe to grind with Darren? I mean, Darren sacrificed so much of his time and energy to do three sequels in a row and Dan still gave him flack.

i'm not sure. i guess there could have been some sort of feud between them behind the scenes. maybe that's just how he is and he doesn't work well under pressure.

this is all just speculation on my part of course.

Darren could probably elaborate on it and set the record straight, but he'd probably rather not to avoid starting anything. I give him props for lasting with Dan breathing down his back all that time, since I would've lost it with him and threatened to quit filming if Dan was being that abrasive to me.

I respect Darren for all his had work on Saw II-IV.

I respect him for that as well.

I haven't seen Mother's Day or 11:11:11 yet but Im sure he did a great job.
